Due to the Good Friday holiday this week, April 03, 2026, our waste collection scheduled for the Northern Region of the Peninsula from Red Harbour to Monkstown will now take place Monday, April 06, 2026.

Please be advised that due to the poor weather forecasted for this Saturday April 04, 2026, our Bulk Collection scheduled for Lawn has been cancelled and will now take place Monday, April 06, 2026.

The Burin Peninsula Regional Service Board would like to advise all Municipalities and Residents that our waste disposal site will be closed on Good Friday, April 03, 2026.

1.There will be NO Bulk Collection during the Months of February and March

The Burin Peninsula Regional Service Board has revised its Bulk Collection Schedule and Regulations.  Please refer to the Bulk Collection Schedule and Regulation pages on this website for the revisions.

Also please note the following items will Not be taken as part of Bulk Collection:

1. Waste from home renovations (roof shingles, wood, construction materials, etc.)
2. Fishing equipment (nets, pots, etc.)
3. Televisions, computers, microwaves & other electronics (electronic waste to be delivered to the electronic depot at the Regional Waste Management Facility for recycling)
4. Iron
